I wanted to play with moving images from the moment I could pick up my dad’s video camera. Editing piqued my interest early on, as it combined my love of storytelling with my passion for technology. It was this combination that would fuel a career beyond my wildest imagination.
I am currently based in both Portland, OR and Los Angeles. As a professional writer, producer, and editor, my work is regularly featured in the TV and digital content space. However, I am also responsible for editing several feature films and documentaries. I spent 6 years serving as a Multi-Platform Writer, Producer and Editor at NBCUniversal, where I was responsible for creating major promotional content and social media campaigns for hit shows like “Project Runway,” “Top Chef” and “Watch What Happens Live.” I enjoy the challenges that come with telling stories through the eyes of a camera and I welcome opportunities to collaborate with like-minded professionals. Taking projects from concept to completion—with exceptional results—is my passion.
I taught myself how to edit video when I was 12 years old and went on to earn an A.A. in Radio/Television from Moorpark College, and a B.A. in Cinema and Television Arts from Cal State University Northridge.
When I’m not working on my latest edit, I’m usually cooking with my fiancé Shellie, playing with (and spoiling) our standard poodle, Claude, riding my motorcycle, or experimenting with a new type of coffee as an avid home barista.
